Troy Karlin, the founder of ALL-N-1 Landscape, started mowing lawns in 1995 while attending Lawrence High School. He continued mowing lawns to pay for his education at the University of Kansas, where he studied architectural engineering, business and advertising. By his 3rd year at KU, he had 50 clients. He promised his clients that he would learn how to provide them with landscaping and water solutions and he went on to become a designer of irrigation systems, drainage solutions, patios, retaining walls, landscaping, and more. Currently, Troy’s focus is sustainable and regenerative design, edible landscaping, permaculture, organic vegetable gardens, rain harvesting, regenerative agriculture, passive irrigation, drought proofing, and helping people become more self sufficient. Troy thrives on environmental issues and working with clients to educate them on many aspects of sustainability like relocalizing our food system and economy. He’s enthusiastic about making your dreams and visions become a reality whether you have a small suburban lot, small to medium acreage, or a large farm or ranch.
2012 has been an interesting year for everyone. Not only have we had one of the hottest, driest summers on record, we’re seeing growing interest in sustainable landscaping. Requests for sustainable services in the areas of edible landscaping, permaculture, rain harvesting, drought proofing, rain gardens, and organic vegetable gardens have doubled annually for All-N-1, becoming the second most popular service requested by our clients behind hardscaping (patios, firepits, decks, pergolas, etc). While economic forecasts are expressing an upward trend in growth and recovery, consumers are discovering the strength, satisfaction and security in taking care of the environment and becoming more self-sufficient.
What this means:
• No matter where you live, there is always something you can do
• People are staying put and making the best use of their land
• Landscaping increases property values, personal satisfaction, and quality of life
At ALL-N-1 Landscape, we take your projects seriously! We share the same sense of pride and accomplishment when working on your landscaping ideas, needs, and dreams. If you’re looking to start a project soon or wishing to add-on to an existing project, now is the perfect time to give us a call.
Sincerely, Troy Karlin and Dmitriy Denisenko
