Q: Sod or seed for your new lawn?

A: When it comes to beautifying your lawn, sod and seed each have separate benefits, but both will provide you with the lush, green landscape you have been craving.
Sod is the way to go if you want immediate satisfaction because it’s installed as mature turf and ready for recreational use the same day. It also cuts down on requirements such as water, herbicides, insecticides, and physical labor.
Seed is a bit more unpredictable but just as effective for three reasons. First, there are more grass types and varieties to choose from when you pick seed. Second, seed develops a stronger root system than sod. Seeded lawns are a bit more grounded initially. Third, grass seed is generally less expensive than sod.

Q: What about the Bobcat (skid loader)?

A: A Bobcat is a great tool when attempting to do a lot of work in a relatively small space, and can be invaluable when it comes to shaping just about every type of outdoor surface and in transporting various landscaping materials such as dirt and stone.
We primarily use Bobcat excavators in conjunction with the more sizable projects, such as pool and patio construction, but we also specialize in using them singularly. If you have any materials that would be impossible to clear away without a Bobcat, or if you would just prefer to hire out our manpower for the sake of convenience, give us a call.
Moreover, if you intend on building your own landscape feature, such as a patio, but need help leveling out the slope, we’ll aid you in grading, and then suggest some great landscape and design techniques to help you get started. How many other companies offer you that?
